Fierce Competition at the Forest Feast AquaSprint Final

Our voices have returned and our ears have stopped ringing after the Forest Feast AquaSprint Finals! The Forest Feast team spent the first Friday in June shouting their support from the poolside of eight locations across the province as the top three teams in each of the four divisions (A, B, C and D) battled it out to see who would bring the coveted Forest Feast AquaSprint trophy home, with the remaining teams competing to avoid relegation. The atmosphere at each location was palpable and the roar from the crowd was impressive!

Our team at Forest Feast hail from all over the province and beyond so the in-office competition was just as fierce as the in-pool action as we all cheered for our local club. However, on the day, there could only be one winner in each division. In Division A defending champions Ards fought a long hard battle to secure an advantage over longstanding rivals Bangor and Banbridge.  After a very tight race in Division B, Limavady emerged victorious. In the Division C final Ballymena managed to secure a well-deserved first place, while Leander won the Division D title.

A huge congrats to every swimmer who competed in the League final. The day itself is the pinnacle of months, if not years, of hard work, dedication and commitment and it was lovely to be part of that celebration with the competitors, their families and their clubs! Until next time! Hopefully our team will be speaking to each other again at that point!
