TROPICAL FRUIT & SEED GRANOLA BARS

ingredients

200g unsalted butter / plant based butter

50g golden syrup / agave syrup

395g condensed milk / vegan condensed milk

1 tsp vanilla extract

300g fine porridge oats

120g Forest Feast Tropical Dried Pineapple, diced

150g Forest Feast Soft Jumbo Apricots, diced

30g sunflower seeds

30g pumpkin seeds

method

Preheat oven to 170°C / 150°C Fan

Line a 9 inch baking tin with baking parchment.

Weigh all the dry ingredients into a large mixing bowl, porridge oats, chopped pineapple, apricots and seeds and thoroughly mix together.

Use a saucepan to gently heat the butter, golden syrup and condensed milk. When it is just melted and no more, quickly add the vanilla and pour over the dry ingredients. Mix until well coated.
5.
Pour into the prepared baking tin and bake for 45 minutes until golden brown.
6.
Remove from the oven and when cool place in the fridge until firm.
7.
Cut into 18 little bars and store in an airtight container.
